Lauren Sanderfer

Lauren’s paintings fuse hyperrealist precision with psychological tension, confronting the viewer with images that feel both intimate and estranged. Rooted in classical training but shaped by the digital era, her portraits echo the seduction of the screen—beauty stilled, distilled, and quietly unraveling.

 

Based in New York City, she holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from the University of Louisville. Her work has been exhibited at Richard Heller Gallery, Sotheby’s, and in the Eye to Eye Collection curated by the Horts. She has painted for public figures, athletes, and collectors, with pieces held in the NHL Collection and Congressional Hall in Washington, D.C.
